War Memorial

Lampeter War Memorial designed by W. Goscombe John was completed in 1921. It records the names of men and women of the Borough of Lampeter who died in World War 1 and World War II.

It is one of very few memorials to record a woman’s name in the list of those who died during World War 1.

A Rememberance Service is held annually at the War Memorial. Visitors are welcome to visit the monument and sit and relax in the memorial garden.

Further information can be found on the West Wales War Memorial Project website.
